For what it's worth, my local (Grand Prairie, TX) QT cashier commented "The free sandwiches aren't for this area, you must have accidentally entered the wrong area. We'll accept it this time, though."
To be honest, I don't recall what area was used for the coupon, but it may be that QT has sent word 'round for cashiers to be more diligent when they accept the coupons.
Sorry you had problems, the coupon is actually showing up for me without entering any zip code at all. So perhaps your cashier was uninformed. To check you may just go back in to coupons.com, type in your zip code and see if the coupon still shows up. Even if you printed you limit it will still be there it will just be on the last page rather than under the "local coupons" section and it will say "print limit reached".
