Walgreens Trip: 4/27

I ran out to hit Walagreens aganin this morning...I just can't pass up all these money makers these past 2 weeks! Plus I wanted to grab some more soda for the hubs.
I know you may be thinking why is she buying that! Since I have said here that I am trying to eliminate HFCS and artificial flavors and colors from our diets as much as possible. This is all still true, and my hubby is a pretty good sport about my healthy eating efforts (he even tolerates meatless meals which is a big deal for him!) but one thing he has not let me touch yet is his soda! He he limits it to one a day or less and for right now that's as good as it gets. So I still look for deals when I can. And the 6 packs I got this week should last for a while!
I used $13 of my RR from earlier in the week
Total Spent: $1.06
Total Saved:$26.07
Plus I got back $10 in RR!

Walgreens Shopping Trip: 4/25

On Sunday I made 2 trips to 2 different walgreens to start spending the $30 in register rewards I earned last week. My goal was to use them to buy some of the things we really needed (tp, kids toothpaste, tums, kids toothbrush, and soda for the hubs) while still holding on to as may of the RR as possible.

I used all $30 of my RR from last week.

I spent $2.91

I saved: $90.63

Plus I got back $24 in RR!!!
**I also found a tearpad for the tryme free renpure organic hair products at my store so I think I will hold onto it until the go BOGO again so I can get a shampoo and conditioner for free!

Walgreens Shopping Trips

I had 2 great shopping trips at Walgreens this week!

Walgreens has the Nature’s Bounty Vitamin D 120ct tablets free after register rewards (though today).

Nature’s Bounty Vitamin D $5, Earn $5 RR when you buy one
Everyone can print the following coupon to get them better than free:
Use $2/1 Nature’s Bounty Product Any coupon (exp 5/5/2010)
Final Prince: FREE plus $2 in overage after register reward
But I actually found out that if you have enough points in the Nature’s bounty Rewards program you could print 4 coupons for $5 off one. I have 2 computers so I was about to get 8 coupons!

I got 6 bottles for free plus $30 in RR!!!!!!

I also took advantage of the $1 ink refills...I asked at my store and they said no limit so I got 3 for $3.25!

Kroger Shopping Trip:4/22

We went to Kroger yesterday. There were not many great deals, but I had put off shopping as long as I could and we really needed alot of dairy and produce after I had been gone for 4 days!

The best sale was the black berries which were 4/$5. I am going to make some blackberries freezer jam. Its not the lowest price I have seen on berries, but I was still happy!

I had free item coupons for the cream cheese, sunchips, and cheese.

I used a BOGO for the Lays

I had $1 coupons for each of the yogurts from the 3/28 SS

I had a .50 off Driscolls coupon the doubled (this was leftover from a while back)

And I had a $1 coupon for a scotch bright sponge which made it free (the earth friendly ones are 10/10 right now)!

Total Spent: $67.54

Total Saved: $28.02

My Target Shopping Trip: 3/23

We went to Target this morning for a few deals. The only thing that did not make it into the picture was the Connect 4 game that we got because the kids were busy trying to figure out how to open it while I was taking the picture!

The best deal was the bandaids which I got overage on and I will submit for the Princess and the Frog rebate!

The Organic eggs were on temporary price cut for $3 which is a good price for organic eggs!

The worst deal was the batteries at $7.99 for 24 ( I left my $1 coupon at home!) but we needed AAA's and it was a reasonable price so I bought them anyway. We generally use rechargeables in our house except when batteries are super cheap or free, but all of our rechargeables are being used at the moment and they can be a bit of an investment on the front end, so we will have to see if we can put some money aside for some more soon!

Also worth mentioning...I used a $5 gift card I earned in a previous deal. I always count them as savings when I use them rather than when I earn them so that accounts for some of my savings here.

Total spent: 21.03

Total Saved: 28.87

My Kroger Shopping Trip: 3/18

I went to Krogers today for the March Mega Event! I spent $34.55 on all the groceries pictured above and I saved $96.95!!!!
My favorite deal this week is the Annies Mac and cheese for $0.50 each, but I am also pretty proud of the free Ronzoni! I will probably donate this pasta because it is an enriched white pasta and we are trying to reduce "white" foods from our diet, but it is great for donations!
Stay tuned for the updated Kroger post with the complete list of match-ups for the mega event!
