...On a Journey to Save Time and Money (and shed a few pounds)
While being a student and a mom!

Walgreens has the Nature’s Bounty Vitamin D 120ct tablets free after register rewards (though today).
Nature’s Bounty Vitamin D $5, Earn $5 RR when you buy one
Everyone can print the following coupon to get them better than free:
Use $2/1 Nature’s Bounty Product Any coupon (exp 5/5/2010)
Final Prince: FREE plus $2 in overage after register reward
But I actually found out that if you have enough points in the Nature’s bounty Rewards program you could print 4 coupons for $5 off one. I have 2 computers so I was about to get 8 coupons!
I got 6 bottles for free plus $30 in RR!!!!!!
I also took advantage of the $1 ink refills...I asked at my store and they said no limit so I got 3 for $3.25!
The best sale was the black berries which were 4/$5. I am going to make some blackberries freezer jam. Its not the lowest price I have seen on berries, but I was still happy!
I had free item coupons for the cream cheese, sunchips, and cheese.
I used a BOGO for the Lays
I had $1 coupons for each of the yogurts from the 3/28 SS
I had a .50 off Driscolls coupon the doubled (this was leftover from a while back)
And I had a $1 coupon for a scotch bright sponge which made it free (the earth friendly ones are 10/10 right now)!
Total Spent: $67.54
Total Saved: $28.02
The best deal was the bandaids which I got overage on and I will submit for the Princess and the Frog rebate!
The Organic eggs were on temporary price cut for $3 which is a good price for organic eggs!
The worst deal was the batteries at $7.99 for 24 ( I left my $1 coupon at home!) but we needed AAA's and it was a reasonable price so I bought them anyway. We generally use rechargeables in our house except when batteries are super cheap or free, but all of our rechargeables are being used at the moment and they can be a bit of an investment on the front end, so we will have to see if we can put some money aside for some more soon!
Also worth mentioning...I used a $5 gift card I earned in a previous deal. I always count them as savings when I use them rather than when I earn them so that accounts for some of my savings here.
Total spent: 21.03
Total Saved: 28.87
I am "Thrifty" Jenny, a Stay at Home Mom of two. I enjoy finding resources for saving money and time. I have been seriously "couponing" for about a year and a half now, so I have some experience saving money but this blog is a new adventure for me so I am looking forward to sharing it with you. In addition I am on a journey of motherhood, weightloss, and graduate school. I am glad you are here!
