Last night I decided to make a quick run back in Kroger for a few more things that I didn't have coupons for when I went in the morning. ( I know I got all that pasta for free in the morning but remember that I am donating it because it is enriched white pasta). The only thing I actually paid for in this picture was the pasta (8 boxes)!
Total spent: $1.67
Total saved: $29.61!!!
**A note about the FREE Snickers and those trying to loose weight: I have a "new"new years resolution that I will not by food that we do not "need" because I do not have the will power not to eat it! I will not buy it regardless of how cheap or free it is unless it goes directly into my donate box (which is on the top shelf of my closet - I can't reach it with out a step ladder) or I give it to a family member, neighbor, or friend immediately! The Snickers are an exception this time because they are for my husband as an Easter treat when the kids are getting their Easter candy- and I already put them away!!!!
