Weekly Savings: 3/28-4/3

Last Sunday I made one more trip to maximize on Krogers March Mega Event. (you can see the match ups here - but this event is no longer going on)
In addition to those items I purchased:
Riceland rice - free after coupon(Internet Printables - no longer available)
Mahatma rice - $0.09 after coupon(Internet Printables - no longer available)
Starkist tuna -free after coupon(Internet Printables - no longer available)
Oscar Myer Bacon- $1.50 each after coupon(Internet Printables - no longer available)
Newmans Own Organic Popcorn -$0.69 after $0.50 coupon doubled (3/17 RP)
2 Success Rice -$0.99 each after $0.50 coupon doubled (1/31 RP- exp 3/31) - I will submit the receipt for the $5 rebate on the Princess and the Frog Movie I bought
*I also had several free item coupons (oreo caksters, degiorno pizza, kashi crackers) sent from Vocal point and Psst.
*plus some groceries with out coupons that we needed for next week like organic milk, bananas, bread, and Gatorade

Spent: $30.07 plus I got a $1 catalina for the Bacon
Saved: $73.88

Last Sunday I Also went to cvs to buy pullups:

I used 2 $3/1 coupons here

plus the $2/$10 CVS coupon

for a total of $10.80 and I got back $5 ECB!

Spent: $10.80 plus I got back $5 in

Saved: $8.00

My husband and myself had to make several quick stops this week for a specific item here and there mostly related to my son's being sick with a virus and pneumonia. Since his tummy hurts he only wants/needs very specific foods so those trips don't have pictures here are the totals:

Spent:$14.53

Saved: $6.03

I also I realized last week after I posted that I hoped to used our balance for the month to buy some organic beef that I forgot I had spent $13.99 at Toys R Us on and 18 pack of Organic Horizon Chocolate Milk Singles. So that plus our spending this week actually puts us a little over budget this month, not under budget like I had hoped. All the little trips for things we don't normally buy is what did it, but they were unavoidable so we will just work had next month to stay under budget buy $11.88 and try to work our organic meat in the budget next month too!
