Freezer Cooking Day(s) - The Master Plan

I really wanted to skip freezer cooking day this month with all that we have been through the past week, but when I took stock of our freezer I realized that I really did need to try to cook up at least a few things because our options were getting pretty slim and we all know when that happens it gets easier to turn to convenience foods!

The one thing I am really excited about in this freezer cooking day is that while this may be an odd combo of meat it is because I was cleaning out all of the meats in our freezer, so with the exception of one big turkey hanging out in there our meat in the future will be organic and I am very pleased with that!

So here is my master plan for this months freezer cooking days (I started yesterday)-I will post the recipes and pictures as I accomplish each item!

Cook black beans-crock pot - for use in taco meat and Black Bean and Turkey Chili
Cook white beans-crock pot - for use in White Chicken Chili
Roast 3 chickens and shred the meat for use in other meals
Roast 1 lb chicken breast and chop the meat for hubs to use on "daddy night" meals
Cook 3 lbs ground turkey and 1 lb ground beef - some for chili, some for taco meat, and some for spaghetti sauce meat
Cook Curry Lentils
Make Sausage and Egg Cups
Make Blueberry Muffins
Make Graham Crackers
Make Granola *(I will have to wait a few days on this because I am ordering organic raisins from Amazon with my swagbucks- I will post pictures of the recipe when I make it!)
